Painting, Drawing and Sculpture: The Intersection Between Art and Food
In this course, campers will explore the intersection of art and food through interdisciplinary art making. Campers will learn about the artistic and cultural significance of food through still life drawing and painting of local produce. Students will use natural dyes and biodegradable materials and engage in independent and collaborative projects. Not only will campers create art inspired by food, but they will also learn to prepare interesting foods and celebrate the end of a camp with a food and art celebration open to their family and friends.
